The JNP Project is officially out of the gate!
JNP was hosted by The National Aquarium at the annual Baltimore Book Festival—this was our official prelaunch: introducing The JNP Project to the world!
Going global takes a lot of small steps.
Step One: our prelaunch of the first book in our 31-chapter book series, Jane & Jake’ Adventures to Awesome: The Journey Begins.
Our goal was to introduce JNP with a FREE Prequel book to kids/families that were interested. In order to receive your free digital pdf, we requested a name and email address in order to send the link for the book. Typically, I was not too sure how many people would, 1) want the book, and 2) hand over their personal info. Surprise! Surprise! I was overwhelmed by the families and professionals that requested our first book!!!!
Being guests of the Aquarium under their tent, we only had a limited amount of time at one of their tables—two hours on Friday and two hours Saturday was our window at specific time slots. Part of that time was slated for a PowerPoint presentation; therefore, my time with interested parties approaching our table would be limited. As the crowds were not large for our presentation (understandably so, as we are a new brand and not recognizable for our fabulous mission and products as of yet), I slimmed down the presentations to 10 minutes in order to spend more time talking to interested parties of people.
With only 3 hours total in both days, our table had non-stop people inquiring about JNP–98% of EVERYBODY who inquired willingly handed over their personal information for a book–56 names in 3 hours! OUTRAGEOUSLY SUCCESSFUL.
We included coloring page activities and face painting for the kids while I spoke to adults. I spoke to: parents, grand parents, kids, educators, a school counselor and a homeschooling mom–each and everyone was thrilled to have a brand developing for kids which would nurture character, courage and confidence–ultimately growing self-esteem and independent self-empowerment. I could not have been more pleased with the public reaction.
Step two: we are planning our next event… again, introducing The JNP Project to the public… going global one step at a time…
Join Jane, Jake and all their friends on the adventures to discover your inner awesome, together!
