KIDS CAME BY NON-STOP ALL DAY, TO GO ON ADVENTURES WITH JANE & JAKE!
The day was literally a non-stop of parents and kids, grand-parents and kids, and just interested, caring adults — all wanting to listen to story time as I read our chapter book series, Jane & Jake’s Adventures to Awesome.
6:30am sharp! The weather was perfect as we set up our JNP display in the park on Calvert Street, and FOX 45 NEWS was there to kick off the event (thanks to Adam/reporter and Christina/camera) and interview JNP at sunrise :0, and promote our First Sunday Arts Festival! Thanks to Erik Evans, Festival Director, and Don Minor, President Arts District, for organizing the event to bring our community together! Kudos for your hard work!!
When I go to these events, continually, I receive strong support for JNP — the books and all our empowerment tools — by all the caring adults who come by stating how they support a healthy self-esteem in kids, and LOVE what JNP is doing to produce the tools for them to nurture their kid’s character, courage, and confidence.
The kids were “glued” to the stories and colored as I read. I always ask questions (to see how intently they are listening) in between chapters–the kids WERE listening, and continue to repeat I AM. I CAN. I WILL. EMPOWWERD. Some of the kids didn’t want to leave (even when their parents had a different agenda)–it was so great to see how they all were so engaged with the stories!
It’s a win-win for parents and kids! You literally can’t go wrong with JNP books and products — your kids will thank you for it later! I am sure.
