2015: June 22 — JNP HOSTS AU PAIR IN AMERICA

JNP a hit with child caregivers from: Sweden, Germany, Bolivia, France, Thailand and Jamaica!

It was JNP’s pleasure to host 10 young ladies from the local Au Pair in America here in Annapolis!

Big topic of discussion: What is educational that you can do with your kids over the summer–having fun, and nurturing their character, courage, and confidence?
Answer: The JNP Project’s adventure books with songs and Parent Activity Kits — all info simple and on-line to download!

We had a great morning. Learning all about JNP and the thoughts about kids’ healthy self-esteem seen in international perspectives! And, how JNP is providing fun books (and more) that are a welcome tool for caregivers of children 5-12+ in this group.

The young ladies were articulate, polite, poised and sincerely interested about children, and a healthy self-esteem. We introduced ourselcves, and begain wonderful discussions on the education plans that each of the young women had for themselves; the child caring here in the USA they are doing — leaving each of their families for a year to get this wonderful experience of coming to America — and their plans going forward when back in their home country. Very stimulating to learn that young adults, globally, have the same wishes and desires as young adults here in America too. And the same desires for a strong INNER AWESOME is also desired globally we all concluded!

We had such an inspirational meeting of the minds, that JNP will be hosting this group monthly through the fall–reading JNP books and doing activities that can be passed on to their Host Families is on the agenda. More to follow as we continue to get to know these international women…
